Eather Group, along with the rest of the community, have been waiting for flood levels to go down so we can finally start to recover.
A chance came last Friday, and we donated our demo truck for the residents of Mileham street to get damaged belongings out of their houses and into our truck to be disposed of. We were moved by the determination of everyone we met; homeowners getting stuck in, and dozens of crews from the RFS and Defence roaming the streets to lend a hand.
The truck filled right up, and we are grateful to help out where we can.
There is so much still to do, and with everything the community has – a great spirit, care for each other, and adrenalin, the one thing everyone needs is more hands on deck!
