Eather Group began as founder and Managing Director, Peter Eather's, passion project. He is proud to know that the family values it was built on have been upheld, even as the business has evolved and expanded.

Peter Eather's father, Albert (Hoss) Eather, made his career in Earthmoving, and mentored Peter in operating heavy machinery from a young age.

Being brought into the same company and quickly moving into a supervisory role, Peter identified opportunities for an improved sustainable approach to industry processes.

In June 2005, Albert Eather passed away.

Eather Group began in June 2010 as Eather Transport Pty Ltd, with one driver and one pink CH Mack 94 model truck, dubbed "Pinky."

Peter resigned as a supervisor and channelled all his effort into his business, soon landing his first major project handling excavated quarry materials.

Eather Group began in June 2010 as Eather Transport Pty Ltd, with one driver and one pink CH Mack 94 model truck, dubbed "Pinky."

The truck fleet began to expand and a wide range of heavy machinery added to the business' capabilities.

In 2012, Eather Transport became Eather Group Pty Ltd, and a new logo was launched.

In 2018, Eather Group started the process of registering with Supply Nation, and good news came with an Indigenous Supplier Certification in early 2019.

After many successes and incredible outcomes on projects, August 2022 saw the company taking over Nepean Business Park, where Hoss and Peter once operated together decades earlier.

As of January 2024, Eather Group is comprised of over 20 trucks and heavy machines as well as more than 40 employees.

The pride of the fleet is a Kenworth 909, registered as HOSS1. No doubt Albert would be proud of what Peter has built for his family's legacy.
