Every now and again a special person comes into your life and changes it for the better. Maurie Hyde has been that person for countless locals, including our Managing Director, Peter.
We have named our newest legacy vehicle after this incredible man, MAURI 1.
He has been involved in the Windsor Wolves Football Club for over 25 years, and is the current President. In his honour, a portion of this truck’s profits will be donated to his foundation called Mozza’s Way, to help disadvantaged children in the local community to play Rugby League.
The money will assist with registration fees, and purchasing all the gear required (e.g. football boots) that they would not otherwise be able to afford.
We were all touched by the outpouring of support for Maurie yesterday as we came together to celebrate Maurie and Nicole’s decades of commitment, announced this initiative, and revealed his truck.
Keep an eye out for MAURI 1 on the roads and know that every load it carries is giving another local kid the chance to be a kid.
