Hosting a Lunch and Learn for the WHT Metro Project Team

We enjoyed hosting a luncheon for the Acciona Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) Metro project team.

It was an opportunity to share some of the outcomes that have come from working together. Reliable work from major projects such as WHT support our employment opportunities and business growth.

Did you know that our staff is 36% women, 26% First Nations, and 28% training/up skilling?

Individual stories of success are difficult to convey in reports, so we always welcome a chance to celebrate and share them.

We appreciated Madeline Donovan’s Acknowledgement of Country, and Nikki Suey’s update on the progress of the WHT’s Aboriginal engagement targets. Our very own Uncle Allan Kelly was also able to offer a driver’s perspective over lunch.

Speaking of lunch, Wilka Thalta, the latest venture from Plate Events and Catering and chef Matt Atkins, provided our delicious food. Everyone had the opportunity to try native Australian ingredients in the burgers, like crocodile, wattle seed, saltbush, and lemon myrtle.
